Broadway, one of the Harlem Wizards, came to Brownstown to get us excited for the game! One of the kiddos in our class was chosen to play a game with him!

Veteran's Day
On Friday, November 10, Kindergarten celebrated Veteran's Day by inviting Veterans and Active Service Members, to our school, to tell us how they followed the 5 Brownstown Values while in the Armed Forces. (BE Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Brave) Mrs. Ranck, Kole's Grandma, came into our classroom to tell us a little bit more about her time in the Air Force. Thank you to all Veterans and Active Service Members for their service! Also, a big Thank You to Mrs. Mellinger for taking pictures!
Author Visit
On Monday, November 6, author and illustrator, Ethan Long, came to Brownstown to show us how he creates his characters and he gave us a preview of his next book!

Pumpkin Party!!
On Friday, October 27, we had a PUMPKIN PARTY to celebrate Autumn and Halloween! Thank you to all of the parents who made this afternoon possible. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!
